赛珍珠《大地》中的女性主义

1980年中国改革开放以来，国内赛珍珠研究呈现出前所未有的热情。而内容更加深刻，复杂的第三波女权主义运动也从20世纪80年代开始在世界范围内展开，并持续至今。
作为成长在中国的女性作家，赛珍珠的作品曾受到过不同程度的否定，但其中所呈现出的女性主义思想的光芒却是任何批判也无法掩盖的。《大地》中阿兰的角色是赛珍珠塑造的最成功的女性形象之一，她是典型的中国传统妇女，却又具有着清晰的自我意识和反抗精神。文章从《大地》中女性形象的构建，以及阿兰和王龙婚姻方面入手分析《大地》中所表现的女性主义。

Abstract

Since the Opening Reform in 1980s, the studies of Pearl S. Buck have seen a new wave in China. Almost the same time, a new wave of feminism movement, the third-wave feminism, which is more complicated and wide-scoped, began to sweep the world, and lasts till now.
As a female writer who lived in China and was profoundly affected by the Chinese culture, Pearl S. Buck’s works have been underestimated by both Americans and Chinese. However, the feminism thoughts in her works still mean a lot to the female emancipation today. The heroin in The Good Earth, O-lan, is one of the figures most successfully shaped by Pearl S. Buck. O-lan is a traditional Chinese woman, but she has the rebellious spirit and self-awareness. The dissertation will discuss feminism in the novel from two aspects: the characterization of O-lan and the mutual respect in the marriage of O-lan and Wang Lung.
