自然拼读法在小学英语词汇教学中的应用

自然拼读法旨在通过拼读、书写等方式让学生掌握英语单词字母及字母组合基础知识而学习英语单词的一种方法,被认为是一种最快、最简单、最有效的完整英语学习法,对于小学生而言效果更佳。然而在我国,自然拼读法还没有被学校普遍地运用;或者有些已经在使用此方法的学校也还没有将自然拼读法运用得恰到好处。本论文分析探讨了小学英语词汇教学中运用自然拼读法的程序、策略和影响,并通过一个小型对比试验的实证研究与分析,证实了自然拼读法在小学英语词汇教学中所发挥的作用以及本文作者在实践中创设的趣味创新记忆法在自然拼读法教学中的可行性与优越性;最后还得出了如下结论:在小学英语词汇教学中运用自然拼读法应注意保证一个轻松快乐的学习环境,不能全盘照搬国外教学,此外学到的知识要及时巩固和反复操练。
    本论文共分为五个部分:第一部分介绍了本文的研究背景和研究目的;第二部分提供了与研究相关的基本定义和理论介绍,主要包括自然拼读法的定义,被普遍认可的六阶段成功法和其历史演进;第三部分着重介绍自然拼读法的词汇教学策略;第四部分的实证研究旨在验证自然拼读法在我国小学英语词汇教学中的有效性以及趣味创新记忆法在自然拼读法教学中的可行性;最后一部分总结了自然拼读法对小学英语词汇教学所产生的影响以及在使用过程中应引起注意的问题。

The Application of Phonics in Primary School English
Vocabulary Teaching


Abstract: Phonics is a method of learning English words, and it aims to make students master basic knowledge of English letters and letter combinations through some ways such as spelling and writing. It is considered as the fastest, the easiest and the most effective English vocabulary teaching method, especially for primary school students. However, in Chinese schools, phonics hasn't been widely used; even though some are using this method, it was also used improperly. This thesis discusses the procedure, strategy, influence in the application of Phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching. Observations will be made through a small scale empirical study to see what effect will Phonics make, and through the empirical study and analysis, the author can confirm that Phonics plays a great role in primary school English vocabulary teaching and the interesting mnemonics innovation created in practice by the author is feasible and super. In the end, this thesis attempts to provide some suggestions for the application of Phonics, such as ensure a relaxed and happy atmosphere, not to follow the foreign teaching model completely, step by step and from easy to difficult in teaching and consolidate the knowledge in times and practice it repeatedly.
The thesis is divided into 5 parts: The first part provides a panoramic view of the thesis, introducing the background and purpose of the study. The second part presents some basic definitions and the theoretical introduction for analysis, mainly includes the definition of Phonics, the widely recognized six stages of successful method and its historical evolution. The third part focuses on the vocabulary teaching strategies of Phonics. The fourth part is an empirical study aiming at verify the effectiveness of the application Phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching in our country as well as the feasibility of interesting mnemonic innovation in Phonics teaching, data and results are discussed in this part. The last part draws a conclusion of the study, summarizes the impacts and notable problems of the application of Phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching.
