中美家庭教育的跨文化比较


当今,竞争日益激烈,而这种竞争是人的素质的竞争,是人才培养的竞争。家庭教育是整个教育体系中不可或缺的一部分,无论对个体发展而言还是对整个社会的进步而言,家庭教育都有其无可替代的作用。虽然家庭教育在我国己经引起了社会各界的极大关注,但我国不少家庭的教育仍存在着误区。众多教育学者在进行理论研究的同时,都试图参照西方发达国家教育的经验来解决我们的家庭教育问题。其中美国是个很好的参照物。借鉴其他国家在家庭教育中有价值的实践,分析了这种差异的文化根源,从而提出对我国家庭教育改革的启示,开创出一种更合理、更趋于完美的教育模式,这样中国的未来才具有不可估量的发展前景。
本文以对研究背景及其重要性的简要介绍开始,第二章介绍有关概念以及本文研究的理论依据,特别是文化与家庭教育的关系。第三章对两国家庭教育差异作了初步探究。第四章介绍了中国现代家庭教育存在的问题及美国家庭教育模式对我国家庭教育的启示。最后得出结论,对中国家庭教育提出自己的一点建议。

A Cross-cultural Comparison of Family Education between China and U.S.

Abstract: Nowadays, the competition is becoming fierce day by day. This is a competition of person’s inner quality and a competition of bringing up the talented person. Family education is a needful part of the whole education system, which has its irreplaceable effects not only on personal development but also on societal progress. Although family education has been paid close attention by all social circles in our country, there are still many problems. As well as exploring the educational theories, many educators attempt to solve these problems by referring to the family education systems of developed countries. American family education is one of the appropriate references. Referring to the useful family education practices of other countries and analyzing the cultural origin of these differences is the only way that helps us put forward the enlightenment for our education reform and initiate a much more reasonable and ideal education mode. Only in this way can China have an inestimable development in future.  
The thesis begins with a brief introduction to the background and significance. Chapter Ⅱis concerned with some theoretical issues, especially the relationships between culture and family education. Chapter Ⅲ is the comparison of the differences between Chinese and American. Chapter Ⅳ is the problems of Chinese family education and the enlightenments from American family education. ChapterⅤ draws the conclusions to this thesis and offers some suggestions to improve Chinese family education.
