肯明斯诗作中的意象分析E.E.肯明斯，是美国现代派运动中最具创新精神的诗人之一。他以诗体新奇古怪闻名，被誉为“语言魔术师”。 由于深受达达主义和立体主义的影响，在一战后的一段时间内，无视传统的创作个性几乎是所有年轻一代艺术家们所共有的，而卡明斯是最具反传统的诗人之一，在诗歌结构上也是前所未有的传统诗歌的叛逆典型，历来学者们对他的评价毁誉参半。在中国，关于肯明斯的及其诗歌的研究，自20世纪80年代开始逐渐的引起学者们的关注，他们分别的从文体学，语言学，美学等角度剖析其诗歌的内在韵味。本论文主要结合了意向主义的特点，通过文体学方法分析肯明斯诗歌中的特点和意向，分析他是如何运用他独特的方式表现传统的感情，并且深入了解他作为诗人兼画家是如何表达他对社会，对人，对物的独到之处。
作为一个诗画家， 他以自己的方式获得了无与伦比的成就，并且他的作品达到了诗画的完美融合。为了突出自己，他叛逆，反传统，突破限制，探寻着属于他的诗歌道路，所以才留给我们那么多优秀的诗歌，并且吸引着许多学者争相模仿。肯明斯作为意象派的优秀代表，拥有许多意向的表达方式，例如，小写的扩展应用，词语的拆分和重组，标点以及空格的安排。尽管他继承了意象派的某些方面的特点，但肯明斯几乎走向了它的极端，无可置疑， 关于对肯明斯的研究我们的路还很长。

An Analysis of Images in E.E. Cummings’ Poetic Works
Abstract: E.E. Cummings ranks as one of the most innovation poets in Modern American movements. Because of his unique style and fresh technique, he gets a reputation as “the magician of language”. Deeply influenced by Dadaism and Imagism, ignoring tradition is almost all of the young generation artists’ personality, and Cummings is the most anti-traditional poet, who can also be called as an unprecedented rebel typical on poetry writing, as a result, he becomes the most controversial poet in the literary world. In China, the researches towards E.E. Cummings totally began from 1980s, and referred to stylish, linguistic, and aesthetics. My paper here tries to combine his poems with Imagism to give an analysis of his poems from images in his poems, explores its unique creation and ideological content, and deeply understand Cummings as a painter and poet, how does he express his opinion of society, human, and other matters.
As a painter-poet, he gets an incomparable achievement in his own way, and makes his works perfect combination of painting and poem. In order to identify him from others, Cummings has to challenge the tradition, breaks the limitation, and explores a characteristic road; as a result, he creates so many excellent poetic works which led the later generations to intimate. Cummings, an outstanding representative of Imagist, he has various ways of Image expression in his poems. There is an extensive use of lower case, word split or compound, punctuation marks, space and blank and so on. Despites some aspect of inheritances from Imagist, he almost gets to the extreme of deviation. It’s no doubt that we still have a long way to go on researching his poetic works.
