从电影《独立日》看美国人价值观中的个人主义

电影《独立日》由罗兰•艾默里奇导演的一部科幻片，故事发生在未来某年美国人正准备热烈庆祝七月四日独立日之前，外星舰队竟大举包围地球，并对美国几个大城市展开致命的攻击,他们的目的是要消灭全人类，占领地球。美国总统比尔•普尔曼号召世界各国共御外敌，人类取得了最后的胜利。
本文以电影《独立日》为例，探讨电影中的人物所展现出的美国人价值观中的个人主义：个人自由、隐私权、自我价值和自我依靠。通过对电影的分析，使人们不仅可以更好地理解美国人的个人主义价值观，而且也能使学者们意识到电影对于价值观的重要宣传作用。

Analysis of the American Value of Individualism Reflected
                 In Independence Day

Abstract

Independence Day is a science fiction film photographed by director Roland Emeriti, The story takes place in future years, the Americans are preparing to celebrate the July 4 Independence Day, The earth is actually surrounded by an alien fleet, and several large cities of the United States are encountered the fatal attack. The foreign enemies’s aim is to destroy all of humanity, to occupy the earth. Bill Pullman, the President of the United States called on countries of the world against foreign enemies together, mankind has achieved the final victory.
This paper takes the movie Independence Day as an example to explore the characters in movies to show individualism of American values: personal freedom Privacy, self-worth and self-reliance. Through the analysis of the film, so that people can better understand the American values of individualism, and also make scholars aware of the important advocacy role of the film for the values.
