城乡小学英语口语教学的对比研究

进入21世纪后,随着我国基础教育改革的全面推进,小学英语口语教学逐渐被提到越来越重要的位置。本文结合小学英语口语教学的相关理论研究,以山东省滨州市为例, 运用课堂观察,访谈和对比研究法,从课堂导入、提问、教学活动的展开三个方面进行有针对性的课堂观察,以课堂实录的形式展现城乡小学英语课堂教学存在的差距,且发现农村小学英语课堂教学存在的问题较多,包括自身因素、教师因素、家庭因素等。笔者试图探究产生这些差异的原因:家长和孩子重视程度、师资水平、孩子的英语基础以及教师的教学方法存在差异,农村地区师生课堂互动性差等问题。针对上述问题,笔者提出了以下策略:改进教学方法,为学生尽可能多地提供课堂练习口语的情境,增加课堂师生互动交流的机会,加强农村小学英语教师队伍建设。

Comparative Study of Urban and Rural Primary School in Oral English Teaching
Abstract
In the 21st century, as a result of basic education curriculum reform, primary school oral English teaching gradually is becoming more and more important. This paper combines the relevant theoretical research of primary school oral English teaching, taking Binzhou city Shandong province as an example, and uses classroom observation, interview and comparative research for the study. Based on the classroom observation, the writer introduces the differences of oral English teaching between urban and rural primary schools, from the perspective of leading-in, questioning and teaching process. The writer points out that there are problems in oral English teaching between urban and rural primary schools, but there are more obvious drawbacks in the latter (self factors, teachers' factors and family factors). The writer tries to find out the reasons which result in the problems: parents and children's emphasis, teachers' level, and basic level of children, teachers' teaching methods, and teacher-students classroom interaction etc. The writer presents the corresponding solutions: improve teaching methods, practice oral English context as much as possible for students, increase the opportunities for classroom interaction, and strengthen the teaching level of rural primary school English teachers.
