《喜福会》中女性对父权社会的抗争

谭恩美是美国当代最具影响力的华裔女作家之一，1989年，她的第一部小说《喜福会》一经出版就引起了美国文坛的广泛注意和一致好评，谭恩美以此确立了其在美国文坛的地位。小说通过对几个女性角色经历的描写，揭露了男权社会对女性的压制，极力表现了女性的觉醒和对独立自由的追求。领会其中的含义，对于我们更加透彻地理解小说的深刻内涵和作者的创作思想会有很大的帮助。
本文一共可分为四章，
第一章主要回顾了《喜福会》的主要内容，介绍了谭恩美的个人经历和其文学地位，以及国内外对此课题的研究评价和其重要性。第二章主要是介绍了父权社会的本质，以及在《喜福会》中所体现的两种父权社会形式。第三章是论文的核心部分，具体分析了《喜福会》中的女性角色在父权社会下的五段抗争史：分别关于三位母亲的不幸命运和两位女儿的美式婚姻。第四章是整篇论文的总结部分，通过对以上几章的论述，提出个人对这一课题的理解。

The Feminine Struggle against Patriarchal Sciety in The Joy Luck Club
Abstract: Amy Tan is one of the most influential contemporary Chinese American female writers. The publication of her first novel, The Joy Luck Club, immediately drew much attention and gained unanimous praise from American literary critics in 1989, and marked the confirmation of Tan's status as "major" Chinese American novelist. The novel expounds the oppression to the female from the man-dominated society and expresses female awakening and their pursuit to the independence and freedom. It is useful for us to comprehend the implications of it, also can help us to better fathom the profound connotations of the novel and the writing intention of the writer.
  This paper can be divided into four chapters, the first chapter reviews the main content of The Joy Luck Club, introduces Amy Tan's personal experience and her literary status, and the general literature review on this research at home and abroad and its significance. The second chapter is to describe the nature of the patriarchal society. The third chapter is the core of the paper, makes a concrete analysis of the five stories of the feminine struggle against patriarchal society in The Joy Luck Club. Respectively are: two mothers' unfortunate fates and two daughters' American marriages. The fourth chapter is the conclusion of the whole thesis. Through the discussion of above chapters, I put forward my own understanding of this subject.
