电影辅助教学的现状与前景

    如今,在大学英语教学中,教学手段日渐多样化。而随着多媒体在教学中的引入英文原版电影的运用也成了英语教学的一种重要辅助手段。然而在高校中普遍开设的视听课上,虽然老师在电影挑选,字幕选择,问答互动都做了很大改善,但在学生中还是普遍存在一种视听课即为看电影课的看法,使视听课的意义大大减弱。目光再转向如今社会上大批兴起的英语教育机构,虽然良莠不齐,但有些制度较完善的机构着实在英语教育方面开创了大量先河,并取得了令人瞩目的成绩。通过比较,发现在大学英语视听教学中仍存在一定缺陷,需进一步改善,以此带动学生学习英语的兴趣,切切实实从电影中有所得有所悟。本论文旨在揭示电影教学的不足,并提出建议,探讨前景,使电影真正在英语教学中发挥它的重要意义。

Abstract
Currently, teaching methods in English class in college are quite diverse. As the emergence of multimedia, those original editions of English movies are becoming an important supplementary in English teaching. Nevertheless, in Video Courses, though teachers make a great improvement in movie selection, language choice and Q&A (Questions and Answers) session, students still consider that Video Course is just a watch-movie course, which dramatically weakens the significance of Video Course. The paper will analyze deeply the current situation of application of movies in English teaching, and compare it with the movie teaching in Shanghai New Oriental. The problems exist in movie-aided teaching, which need to be improved. The paper focuses on revealing shortages of the current movie-aided teaching and presenting prospects and suggestions, in the hope of making the movie produce its real effect in English teaching and learning.
