中美礼貌用语对比分析

礼貌用语在我们的日常交际活动中随处可见。合理正确的礼貌用语可以促进和谐的人际关系。但在中美国际交流中常常在礼貌用语使用上出现失误，因此学习并掌握中美两国的礼貌用语的不同之处十分重要。
本文分成五部分。第一部分主要介绍礼貌用语，并且从中美两个方面单独介绍了各自礼貌用语的特点。第二部分主要是对中美礼貌用语之间的差异进行具体的对比分析，从称呼语，日常用语，赞美语和谦虚，及隐私这四个方面具体阐述。第三部分是对中美两国礼貌用语产生差异的原因进行分析阐述。第四部分主要是一些关于避免礼貌用语语用失误的策略，来帮助我们更好的降低在跨国交流中礼貌用语这一方面不必要的失误。我们应该记住这两个策略，通过它们来提高我们礼貌用语正确使用的能力。最后一部分是本文的一个总结。
通过学习中美礼貌用语差异来帮助我们正确合理使用。另外，只有合理使用礼貌用语才能在跨文化交际中实现礼貌用语的作用。

A Comparative Analysis of Sino-US Polite Expressions
Abstract: Polite expressions can be seen everywhere in our daily communications. Correct and appropriate polite expressions can promote and keep a harmonious interpersonal relationship with others. Since we always make mistakes about polite expressions in intercultural communications between China and America, it is important for us to learn the different polite expressions in these two countries.
The paper is divided into five parts. The introduction shows the different characteristics of polite expressions between Chinese and American. The second part gives a comparative study on the differences of polite expressions between China and America from four aspects, including address forms, daily expressions, compliments and modesty, and privacy. The third part discusses the reasons, which cause the diversities of polite expressions in these two countries. The main reason is the different cultures. The fourth part shows two useful tactics, which are good for reducing or avoiding mistakes in intercultural communications between China and America. We should remember these tactics to improve our ability of using correct polite expressions. The last part makes a conclusion of the paper.
Study on the diversities of polite expression between Chinese and American can help us use polite expressions correctly and suitably. In addition, only by using appropriate polite expressions can we truly realize the function of polite expressions in intercultural communications.
