英文期刊中语言学学术论文摘要的及物性分析

语篇分析的及物性研究开始于20世纪早期，在随后的几十年里，及物性分析不断运用于各种语篇中，其中文学作品的研究最多。近几年来，及物性分析法进一步广泛应用于广告与新闻语篇中。但是应用于论文摘要的分析相对较少。作为论文的精华部分，摘要在交流与传播新知识方面起着很重要的作用。摘要还要求吸引读者的注意力，所以语言上要求简洁精炼，引人注目，概括性强。为了探索摘要更多的特征，该论文运用韩礼德系统功能语法中的及物性理论来分析英语语言学学术论文的摘要。通过分析发现，摘要中物质过程、关系过程占多数，而较少有言语过程、心理过程、行为过程和关系过程；这些特点的呈现均是由英语语言学学术论文摘要语篇的功能和目的所决定的。

Abstract

The transitivity study of discourse analysis began in the early 1970s. In the next few decades, transitivity analysis was frequently applied to various types of discourses and most of the studies were on the literary works. In recent years, with further application of Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar in the field of social sciences, the systemic-functional grammar was gradually applied to the analysis of advertisements and news, but the analysis of the papers abstracts was relatively few. As the essence of the paper, the abstract was the most important part to exchange and disseminate new knowledge, as well as attracting the readers’ attention. The language of the abstracts was simple and concise, compelling and full of strong generality. In order to research some other features. This article examined the abstracts of the linguistic academic papers in English journals with Halliday’s transitivity theory in systemic-functional grammar. It was concluded that the material process and the relational process accounted for a large proportion, while the mental process, the verbal process, the behavioral process and the existential process took a little part, which was decided by the discourse function of the abstracts of the linguistic academic papers.
