试论好莱坞影片字幕翻译的归化异化法

影视字幕是原声口语浓缩的书面文本，虽不同于文学文本，但其中承载着许多文化信息，而在进行字幕翻译时， 如何处理其中的文化信息则会直接影响到观众对影片和外国文化的理解。文章首先以影片《功夫熊猫2》字幕翻译为例进行研究，评析了归化法在英语电影字幕翻译中的运用。然后，再以其他好莱坞影片中的具有代表性的表达为例，评析了异化法在英语电影字幕翻译中的运用。最后指出了在影视字幕翻译中，归化和异化不是绝对的，而是互补的。在翻译字词方面多用归化手段，在文化交流方面多用异化手段。

DOMESTICATION AND FOREIGNIZATION OF SUBTITLE TRANSLATION IN
           HOLLYWOOD FILMS

Abstract: Subtitle is the written text of the dialogue in the film. Although　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 different from literary text, it carries a lot of cultural information, and in subtitle translation, how to deal with the cultural information will directly affect the　 audience’s understanding of films and foreign culture. First of all, the article adopts the film “Kungfu panda 2” as a case and analyzes the application of domestication and foreignization in English film subtitle translation. Secondly, I choose some representative expressions in other Hollywood films and analyze the application of domestication. Finally it points out that in film subtitle translation domestication and foreignization can complement each other. When it comes to the level of language and words, domestication is preferred. When it comes to the culture level, foreignization is recommended.
