分析《荆棘鸟》中女性性格对爱情观的影响

An Analysis of the Influence of Female’s Personality on Love View in The Thorn Birds

Abstract

People are different from others in personal personality, which leads to different view of love, and the influence of unique personality on view of love is very clear. The Thorn Birds is a typical novel about women with different personalities pursuing love. This paper mainly discusses the influence of personalities on view of love. Firstly, the author quotes the opinion of Le Jia from his book, make a clear explanation of character and view of love, and classifies women’ s personalities in four types. It includes people with the red personality, people with the blue personality, people with the yellow personality, and people with the green personality. Secondly, the paper introduces the author of The Thorn Birds. Thirdly, the paper introduces three females’ love stories and their personality. Then through some careful researches, the author of this paper draws a conclusion that different personalities will lead to different views of love through the analysis and comparison of three heroines’ love stories in The Thorn Birds. The thesis aims to help people understand that the personality can influence the love view, and it is important to form a correct love view
