性别对于中国学生英语学习的影响及对教学的启示


性别差异在中国学生英语学习中有很明显的表现。关于这一观点,许多专家在认知,生物和语言的学习方面的研究使得男女在用于学习上的不同表现更加的明确。为了提高中国学生的英语学习能力。老师们不仅要尊重学生的个体差异,也要了解学生的性别差异。学生在英语学习中体现出来的男女不同的表现及特点,成了有效提高英语水平的新的突破口。在新课程改革背景下,对学生的个体差异的关注成为教育理论界和实践的重要课题,性别差异更是其中不容忽视的环节。本篇论文通过调查问卷分析男女学生在英语学习过程中受环境及自身的影响表现出来的性别差异,学习动机和观念的差异,并且根据因性施教的原则提出相应的教学对策。

The Influence of Gender on the Learning for
Chinese Students and the Inspiration for Teaching

Abstract

     The gender differences have the remarkable performance in the English study of Chinese students. About this issue, many experts study cognition, biology, and language learning, so that men and women differ in English learning more explicitly. In order to improve Chinese students’ ability for English learning, teachers need to respect not only the individual differences, but also the population differences, including gender differences. The different characteristics and performance of male and female has become a new breakthrough in learning English on how to improve English. Under the new curriculum reform, attention to students' individual differences becomes an important topic of education theory and practice. This paper analyzes male and female students by understanding their impact on the environment and demonstrated gender differences in English teaching process, differing in motivation and ideas by questionnaire, and gives some solution by the differences of gender.
