玩具总动员系列片中的美国个人主义——以霍夫斯泰德个人主义-集体主义价值维度为分析视角

美国动画电影，作为文化交流的一种特殊形式，为美国在文化全球化背景下，输出美国文化价值的核心内容——个人主义，起到了不可取代的作用。玩具总动员系列片是美国动画电影的代表作之一，拥有动画片题材领域里的最高票房纪录。以往的学者也做了很多相关的学术研究，但是多着重于从动画艺术的角度去分析，或者选用其他题材的电影来作为研究美国文化和价值的案例。因此，本文旨在从霍夫斯泰德的个人主义- 集体主义的文化维度的角度出发，分析玩具总动员系列片中的文化现象，从而对美国文化和价值观有更好的了解，同时，也为中美跨文化交流提供重要借鉴意义。

FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF  HOFSTEDE’S INDIVIDUALISM-COLLECTIVISM VALUE DIMENSION

Abstract: American animations, as a special form of cultural communicating, play an indispensable role in transmitting American culture and values under the background of cultural globalization. Toy series is one of the most representative American animations, with the highest box office in the genre of animated cartoon. While many previous scholars have already done researches in the aspect of cartoon art, or selected other materials as case studies. Hence, this paper aims to analyze the cultural phenomenon in Toy series from the perspective of Hofstede’s individualism-collectivism value dimension, getting a better understanding of American culture and values, in the meantime, offering some valuable references in Sino-American cross-cultural communications.
