汉英翻译中的动词词义对比研究

英语和汉语是世界上使用广泛的两种语言，属于不同的语系，存在着明显的差异，特别是在词义方面的差异更加明显。同时，汉语和英语都是通过句子来表达中心思想，然而，动词是句子的载体。因此，弄清楚动词词义差异显得更为重要。翻译是一种语言活动，它用一种语言将另一种语言所表达的思想、感情、风格等忠实地重新表达出来，决不是机械的转换。因此，在翻译的过程中，需要了解两种语言的共同点和差异。本文从不同角度分析英语动词词义特点、汉语动词词义特点以及两种语言的动词词义差异对比，通过例举大量的例子，阐述了其在翻译中的重要意义。

A Comparative Study on the Sense of Verbs in Chinese -English Translation

Abstract

English and Chinese are widely used in the world. They belong to different language family, so there are obvious differences between them, specially in the sense of verbs. The complete meanings of Chinese and English are both be expressed by sentences, and in the sentences, verbs are the supporters. That make it more important to understand the differences for us. Translators not only need to know their source language well, they must also have a thorough understanding of the field of knowledge covered by the source text, and of any social, cultural, or emotional connotations that need to be specified in the target language if the intended effect is to be conveyed. This thesis determines to analysis the characters of Chinese verbs and English verbs in different points, and through a large amount of examples to find the difference in the sense of verbs in Chinese-English translation.
