从《在路上》看垮掉的一代

“垮掉”运动发生于20世纪中期的美国，是在二战后冷战时期的特定环境中的一场影响深远的反文化运动，“垮掉一代”是极具争议的一代，他们抛弃世俗，放荡不羁，然而在精神上却从未“垮掉”。凯鲁亚克的小说《在路上》 最全面地表现了垮掉一代的生活方式和最深刻地探索他们不懈的精神追求, 同时也揭示了他们身上的弱点, 可以说是垮掉派运动发展的启示录 。
笔者希望通过浅析《在路上》这部著作去感受和发现“垮掉一代”追求的归属感和价值观。同时，也希望通过这篇论文的浅析去增加社会对“垮掉一代”的理解和关注，增加当代青年去追求理想和变革的勇气。

A Mirror of Beat Generation：On the Road
Abstract
Originating in the 1950s，during the post-World-War II and the Cold War, the Beat Generation essentially constituted a counter-cultural movement in opposition to the traditional，established culture of mid-twentieth-century America. The Beat is a controversial generation. They originally coined the term “beat” to signify their weariness with society in general, but also used the word in a spiritual sense. On the Road wrote by Jack Kerouac is the most widely recognized work of Beat literature. In On the Road, the Beat lifestyle is completely presented ,and their never-stop pursuit in spirit sense is deeply explored, meanwhile, this novel also reveals the weakness of the beat, so it surely is the expiration of the beat movement.
Through this thesis, the author hopes that there will be more people to tune into the voice of the Beat Generation, and the youths will have more courage which inspires them to go for their dreams and the changes in the current society.
