跨文化视角下美剧风行中国大学校园的现象研究

在跨文化视角下，美剧得以风靡中国大学校园这一现象值得研究。本文首先从当代大学生的特点，从文化、心理、社会层面进行分析。以及美剧本身的特点，美剧中的普世价值观，以及文化霸权的体现等。着重分析了美剧风行大学校园的四个原因：美剧所带来的传统文化的解禁，思想上的开放，低语境的表现，以及美剧的情感构建以及美剧中对本土文化的误读。论文得出的结论，美剧之所以能如此风行大学校园是因为它迎合了当代中国大学生的情感诉求，在传统文化压抑下，美剧的开放思想让大学生得以释放。大学生不再是单纯得因为学习而去看美剧，大学生在美剧中的情感诉求也是导致这一现象产生的重要原因。

A Study on the Popularity of American TV Dramas at China’s University Campus from a Cultural Perspective

Abstract: It’s worth studying the popularity of American TV dramas in a cross-cultural communication perspective. At the very beginning, the study makes an analysis of college students from the aspect of cultural characteristics, psychological characteristic and social characteristics. After that, the study analyses the features of American TV dramas, the Universal value and Hegemony in American TV dramas. Typically，the paper focuses on four main parts which may cause the reasons on why American TV dramas are so popular in China’s college campus: the liberation of traditional culture, the opening thought, the low context performance, the emotional construct in American TV dramas and the cultural misunderstanding occurred in American TV dramas. What’s more, it elaborates on the facts that why American TV dramas are so popular is because they meet the needs of China’s students’ emotional appeals. The opening mind has released Chinese students from the deep pressure of traditional culture.  Learning English is no longer the main reason why American TV dramas become so popular. The emotional appeals of China’s students are also important reasons.
