论活动教学法在小学英语教学中的应用

   近些年来,全国正在进行有深远意义的课程改革,而英语课程为了适应各种要求,也在某种程度上进行了改革,而活动教学法作为交际教学法的一个分支,也越来越受学者们的青睐和喜爱。活动教学法是一种能较好的适应小学生身心发展的教学方法,它可以让孩子们在“做中学”,促进孩子的全面发展。本文旨在发现当前英语教育存在的问题,并针对这些问题提出策略,为学生提供轻松的学习环境,以提高学生的学习兴趣,学习能力和成绩,使学生主动学习,并提高其英语交流能力。
在这两个月的具体教学的实践研究中,本文对两个应用不同教学方法的小学英语班进行对比实验。作者采用学生问卷调查、测试等研究手段,通过对问卷结果的整理,课堂活动的观察,考试结果的对比讨论发现,活动教学法不仅锻炼学生的思维,增加学生体验英语的机会,而且可以提高学生的成绩,优化英语课堂教学效果。

Application of Activity-based Approach in Primary School English Teaching
                        Abstract
In recent years, our country is undergoing a profound curriculum reform, and English curriculum has reformed to some extent in order to meet various demands. As a branch of communicative approach, activity-based approach has enjoyed increasing recognition and favor among scholars. Activity-based approach is a kind of teaching method which adapts itself to students’ physical and mental development. It can promote students’ all-round development through “learning in doing”. The core this thesis is to search for the present problems about English teaching in primary school English teaching through empirical research, and a tactics applied to English teaching can be found to provide a relaxed and active environment for students in order to improve students’ interests, learning ability and English marks, make students involve in the teaching process actively and improve their ability of English communication in classroom activities. In the process of teaching practice in the two months, the writer conducts a comparative experiment between two classes applying two distinct teaching methods and employs questionnaire method, test and such research tools. According to the questionnaire results, observation of classroom activities, contrast between test results of two classes, the conclusion can be drawn: activity-based approach not only exercise students’ English thinking and increase their chances to experience English, but also improve students’ marks and optimize the effects of English classroom teaching.
