浅析《喜福会》中中美文化的冲突与融合The Joy Luck Club is the famous novel of the ethnic Chinese writer-Amy Tan. This paper analyzes the conflicts between the mothers and the daughters. From the different values of education between the two generations and the different views of marriage and so on, the thesis discusses the presentation of conflicts and the primary causes of the conflicts. Meanwhile from the remission of mother-daughter relationship, it expresses the subtle integration between the two cultures. These details show a process that is the Chinese-American culture from conflict to integration. In the end, this paper reveals a significance of exploring. In communications, we should can firstly identify the culture, and then share the culture, lastly adapting to the culture. The purpose is to develop the multi-culture harmoniously. Because of this, people can understand and respect each other, so as to avoid some mistakes in communication.

摘要：《喜福会》是著名华裔女作家谭恩美的成名作。本文分析了小说中母女之间冲突。从父母与子女之间不同的家庭教育观、婚姻观等角度探讨了冲突的表现，以及冲突发生的的根本原因。同时从文中母女关系逐步得到缓解，表达了两种文化之间微妙的融合。展现了中美文化间相互冲突最后相互融合的一个过程。文中最后展现了这一探索的重要意义——文化在交流的过程中，我们需要自我的认同文化，然后分享文化，最后适应文化, 达到多元文化和谐发展的目的。因为这样，人与人之间才能相互理解和尊重，以此减少交流中的误解。
