浅谈高中英语词汇的语境教学

 Vocabulary is of importance for the English learners, but it is considered as one of the hardest tasks in learning English. Contextual teaching is an important way of vocabulary teaching rather than just describing the linguistic structure. It aims to make English vocabulary teaching a more easy and effective task. The analysis shows that context and vocabulary teaching have close relationship, and context will restrict the expression of lexical meaning. If students learn English vocabulary without context, they can’t accurately understand the lexical meaning, grasp the real connotation of vocabulary, and flexibly and appropriately use vocabulary in specific context. Context should be used to guide vocabulary teaching, and in this way students can develop their vocabulary learning and application ability.

摘要：词汇对于英语学习者来说至关重要，但词汇学习被认为是英语学习中最艰难的任务。语境教学是一种重要的词汇教学方法而不是仅仅描述语言结构。语境教学的目的是让词汇教学更加简单有效。分析表明，语境与词汇教学有密切关系，语境将限制词义的表达。如果词汇学习脱离语境，学生就不能准确地理解词汇意义，掌握词汇的真正内涵，并在具体的语境中灵活，恰当地使用词汇。所以语境可以用来指导词汇学习，这样学生们可以发展他们的词汇学习和应用能力。
