中美婚姻习俗演变过程中的中美文化对比

在全球化的趋势下，中国和西方国家的交流越来越密切。美国作为西方经济最发达的国家，与中国之间有着密切的跨文化交流。加深对中美文化差异的了解，有助于我们更好的进行交流。
任何一个完整的婚礼，所涉及的每一个环节，都不仅仅是其形式上的表现，而是更深层次的传统 、习俗的差异的表现，进而体现的是其文化的特点。中美婚礼各个环节所涉及的不同于对方的习俗的对比，正是其文化差异的直接反映。
本文首先通过中美婚礼的起源，婚礼前的准备，及整个婚礼过程的对比，来分析中美文化的差异。进而通过中美对婚姻价值观的不同的对比，中美婚礼习俗的演变，以及新时代下出现的新的婚礼方式及新的婚姻观，来探讨中美文化的对比。

The Cultural Contrast Revealed in the Development of Marriage between China and US

Abstract

On the condition of globalization, the communication between China and Western countries becomes more and more frequent. As the most developped country in the west, the United States has an intimate intercultural communication with China. Getting much deeper and wider comprehension of difference in culture makes the communication much more easier and successful.
In any nation, a complete wedding, even every step it includes reveals not just itself, but also a deeper understanding of difference in customs of its nation, even in the character of its culture. That is to say, the steps of wedding between China and the United States can reveal the difference of their customs, and that also is the reflection of the contrast on their culture.
The main content of this paper is to study the cultural contrast between China and the United States through the analysis of the differences on the origination, preparation and the whole procedure of the wedding. And then according to the contrast of the different views of value on marriage, development of marriage in China and the United States, the new ways of holding a wedding, and new views of value on marriage in the new age, we can find the cultural contrast between China and the United States.
