论《哈利•波特与火焰杯》中的象征意义

    自从1997年由英国女作家罗琳J.K创作的哈利波特系列小说从第一部出版至今受到了全世界的广泛欢迎,作者以其丰富的想象力和引人入胜的情节使哈利波特成为了奇迹，在最近五年中没有任何一部小说可以超越哈利波特的影响力。整部系列为我们讲述了哈利波特在霍格沃茨魔法学校的冒险经历和学习生活的故事。在哈利波特系列小说和电影中涉及了大量的象征性符号，魔杖﹑各种各样奇怪的生物和怪兽以及魔法咒语带领读者进入到了一个与现实世界完全不同的魔法世界。哈利波特系列吸收了欧洲传统文学的精华，并折射出希腊神话，圣经故事，英雄传奇等文学题材。作者罗琳不仅对传统文学题材进行了继承与弘扬，而且新的文学元素来吸引读者的眼球。
本文以分析《哈利•波特与火焰杯》中的象征性符号例如，人物，物品，生物等为目的，通过探究西方文化，宗教，希腊神话和社会背景来挖掘其社会象征性，以至于我们更好的了解哈利波特系列的深层意义和作者深层意图。

On The Symbolism in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Abstract
    
     Harry Potter series created by British author J•K Rowling from the first book since 1997 till now have been a great popularity around the world. The author makes Harry Potter a wonder with her rich imagination and the attractive plot. It is no doubt that there is not any literature work that surpasses Harry Potter's influence at least in recent five years. The whole series give us vivid stories about Harry Potter's adventure life and study in a magic school called Hogwarts. A lot of symbolized codes are involved in Harry Potter series' novel and movies. The magic wands, all kinds of magic creatures and magic spells lead us into a totally different world from the real world. Harry Potter series absorb the essence of the traditional European literature, the Greek mythology, Bible story, hero legends. J•K Rowling not only carries the traditional literature forward but also inject new literature elements to attract the readers' attention.
     This paper aims to analyze the symbolized codes like characters, stuffs, creatures in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by researching western culture, religion, Greek mythology and social background and to discover the social symbolism, so as to get a better understanding.
