浅析字幕翻译策略

字幕翻译是翻译领域的前沿，目前的研究仍在起步阶段，对这一分支的认识有待完善，对其策略的研究也需进一步探索。本文运用文献研究法，首先论述了字幕翻译策略的相关背景、研究意义、论文结构及前人的研究成果，即奈达的功能对等理论和翻译目的论在这一领域中的应用。然后分析了字幕翻译的三个特点：综合性、瞬时性和口语性。接下来阐释了字幕翻译中文化现象的应对策略---归化和异化及翻译过程中需要采取的五点策略。最后对本文中所有策略做出总结。

Abstract

Subtitle translation is the frontier in the translation sphere. The current study is still at the starting stage. The recognition to this branch needs to be perfected, and the study in its strategies also needs to be explored further. This paper adopts literature research method to expound firstly the relevant background, the significance of the study, the structure of the paper and researching fruits achieved by previous researchers in the strategies of subtitle translation: the application of Nida’s functional equivalence theory and the Skopostheory in this sphere. Then it analyzes three characteristics in subtitle translation: comprehensiveness, instantaneity and colloquial feature. Next it discusses the strategies coping with the cultural phenomenon in subtitle translation--domestication and foreignization-- and five strategies supposed to be noticed in the process of translation. Finally it makes a conclusion of all the strategies in this paper.
