基于合作原则探析《爱玛》中的语言特色

本文基于合作原则对小说《爱玛》中主要人物语言特色进行分析与探究。小说《爱玛》中的会话语言有些遵循合作原则，有些又违反这一原则，本文利用文献研究法、案例研究法和对比研究法对小说中的会话语言进行深入研究，探析这些会话语言的深层含义，加强对小说《爱玛》中人物的理解。文章首先概述了研究背景与相关文献；继而基于合作原则对原著中的具体事例加以分析，并总结出小说中的语言特色。这些特殊的会话语言与男女主角的社会地位和简•奥斯汀的先进思想是密不可分的。最后，为结论，希望本文为那些探求语言艺术的人们提供一些有效的借鉴。

Abstract

This paper has made an analysis of conversation features of the main characters in the novel Emma based on cooperative principle. There are conversations in Emma which reconcile or violate the cooperative principle. This paper researches these special conversations in depth, explores the underlying implicature, and enhances a more profound and extensive comprehension of the characters in Emma via the method of literature research, case study and comparative study. Firstly this paper summarizes the research background and relative literature. Then concrete examples from the novel are analysed, and the conversation features are summed up based on the cooperative principle. These special conversations have close relationships with the disposition of heroes and heroines and Jane Austen’s advanced thoughts. The last chapter is conclusion, and it is hoped that this paper can provide some useful advice for people who are exploring the arts of conversation.
