美国西南航空以人为本的企业文化

美国西南航空公司以低价机票的短程线路而闻名于全球,并凭借“以人为本”的企业文化创建至今连续盈利拔得业界头筹。运用“员工是上帝”的关系方式,尊重员工,把员工当作公司最宝贵的财富。不仅如此,西南航空公司从创立开始就是以“爱”为基本理念,并致力于营造轻松、幽默和充满欢笑的工作环境。如今,西南航空已经进化为高度融合的独特文化,无论外界的形式如何改变,公司始终把内部“关系”设在第一位。本文以美国西南航空为例,介绍西南航空“以人为本”的企业文化,以及“员工第一,顾客第二”的精神核心。本文共分为五部分:首先,介绍企业文化的概念及其作用;其次是文献综述;此外,介绍美国西南航空公司“以人为本”的企业文化及组织文化建立;再次是美国西南航空公司给中国航空业的启示;最后为总结。

Abstract

      Southwest Airlines became well-known throughout the world for its cheap air tickets on short flights. And since its establishment, Southwest Airlines has obtained continuous profits and played a leading role in the industry by virtue of the "people-oriented" corporate culture. On the other hand, it considers its employees as the company's most valuable wealth according to its "the employee as God" principle. Besides, Southwest Airlines took "love" as its basic concept at its inception, and committed itself to creating a relaxed, humorous and happy working environment. Today, Southwest Airlines has developed a highly integrated unique culture, and it will always put the internal “relationship” in the first place no matter how the outside world changes. The present paper takes Southwest Airlines as an example, and analyzes its "people-oriented" corporate culture, and its spirit core of "employee first, customer second". And the paper is divided into five parts: first of all it introduces the concept and effects of corporate culture; the next part is the literature review; thirdly the paper introduces the "people-oriented" corporate culture and the organizational culture construction in Southwest Airlines; the last part is about the inspiration for China's aviation industry from Southwest Airlines; the last part is the summary.
