英汉新闻语篇言据性的比较分析

言据性作为一个语法分类是所有语言中不可缺少的一部分，它暗示了说话人对信息来源的说明。
本文从《纽约时报》和《人民日报》中选取了180篇新闻（其中中英各30篇政治新闻,30篇体育新闻和30篇经济新闻）作为语料对新闻语篇中的言据性进行比较分析。
通过对比分析英汉新闻语篇，我们发现英语新闻语篇中据素的使用频率高于汉语新闻。话语据素在四中据素中占主导地位。传闻性据素在中英经济新闻中的比重占最高。

A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON EVIDENTIALITY IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE JOURNALISTIC TEXTS

Abstract: Evidentiality, as a grammatical category，is an indispensable part of all languages as it profoundly indicates the speaker’s sources of information.
In this thesis, 180 pieces of news are selected from The New York Times, and The People’s Daily which are significant publications in the U.S.A and China (60 pieces for each, with 30 politics news ，30 sports news and 30 business news) for the data of the comparative study on evidentiality
Through a contrastive analysis on the English and Chinese journalistic texts, we find that the average frequency of evidentials in English journalistic texts is higher than those in Chinese journalistic texts. Besides ,verbal evidentials are predominant in these four evidential types. In both English and Chinese business news, the frequency of hearsay evidentials is the highest.
