对于提高高中英语课堂教学有效性的反思－以西方经典教育电影《死亡诗社》为案例分析

本文以西方经典电影《死亡诗社》为案例分析，通过分析基延老师的独特有效的教学方法从中获得相关启示，并通过文献研究法、观察法、个案研究法、经验总结法等方法从教学目标、教学内容、教学方法和师生关系四方面提出改进目前英语课堂教学有效性的建议。在教学目标方面，需要从以应试型教育为目标转变为以培养学生的英语实际应用能力位目标；在教学内容方面，从单一的教科书学习转变为形式多样、题材广泛的教学材料学习；在教学方法方面，从单一的授课法转变为运用多种教学方法启发学生；在师生关系方面，从沉闷的师生关系和课堂氛围转为建立和谐融洽的师生关系，建立平等活跃的课堂氛围。从这四方面着手改进，相信高中英语课堂教学的有效性能有大大提高。

Reflections on Enhancing the Effectiveness of English Class in Senior High School
－A Case Study of Classic Education Movie Dead Poets Society
Abstract:This paper analyzes Mr. Keating's unique teaching style and methods in the classical western education film Death Poets Society and then brings some relevant recommendations. Through the literature research, observation, case study, experience summary methods, this paper raises some suggestions to improve the effectiveness of current English teaching. When consulting the literature, the author found that many scholars and researchers have presented their correct teaching concepts and practical teaching methods accumulated in practice. They share their insights, teaching case analysis with us that make the research more thoroughly and deeply. So some useful concepts will be included in this paper. As the author experienced English class in senior high school, her personal reflection is included by observing classmates. This paper puts forward suggestions from four aspects: teaching objective, relationship between teacher and students, teaching method and teaching content. In the paper, the author suggests that teaching objectives should shift from the test-oriented into the ability of cultivating students' English practical application; Teaching content should shift from a single textbook learning into various forms and wide range of teaching materials learning. Teaching method should shift from a single teaching method-lecture into using many kinds of teaching methods to inspire students. At last, a harmonious and friendly teacher-student communicational relationship should also be established. Teachers and students should spare no efforts to creating democratic and active classroom atmosphere. Making improvements from these four aspects, the author believes that we will greatly enhance the effectiveness of English class in senior high school.
