从奥运会运动员的获奖感言看中美价值观差异
中美价值观差异体现在我们日常生活的方方面面，学者们对中美价值观差异的研究也涉及到了诸如家庭观念、教育理念、商务活动等领域，而对于价值观差异给体育赛事的交流带来的影响却少有人提及。
本文以诸如《中国体育光耀60年》，美国体育节目ESPYD等体育颁奖节目中运动员的获奖感言为语料，以霍夫斯塔德价值观维度中的个人主义/集体主义、权利距离理论（霍夫斯塔德，1980），以及中西方人对“自我”认知的差异作为支撑，对中美运动员的致辞进行分析，旨在发现其差异背后的原因，提出沟通策略，进而进一步总结中美价值观差异对发表感言者带来的影响。
本文的研究意义在于通过对中美运动员获奖感言差异的分析，进一步增进两国的相互了解，提高沟通效率，避免一些误解的产生。同时提醒大家，看得见的文化差异现象只是表象，看不见的价值观才是产生不同现象的原因。

Abstract: Chinese and American value differences are reflected in all aspects of our daily lives. For many years, a lot of scholars have done lots of research on the issue like family values, educational concept and business activities. But few of them put the attention on the acceptance speeches of Olympic athletes.
This thesis is carried out by using data chosen from the sports awards ceremony (Chinese TV program“60 years of Chinese Sports Glory” and American TV program ESPY) and some sports news. Based on three theories by Hofestede: individualism / collectivism, power distance, and the different status of “self”, the analysis aims to find out the reasons behind the value differences and put forward some communication strategies.
The significance of the study is that the analysis of the acceptance speeches given by Chinese and American athletes, to some extent, can help to improve mutual communication and avoid some misunderstanding in Sino-US interactions. At the same time, this thesis can remind people that the visible cultural differences are just superficial, the invisible value differences are the real reasons.
