《哈尔的移动城堡》中的意象研究综观世界儿童文学历史，可以发现英国出了大量的经典儿童文学作品。进步的儿童观与不断涌现的儿童文学理论，让英国的儿童文学走在世界的前列，各种优秀作品风靡世界。这些作品可能题材不同、风格各异，但是却都有对成长、追寻、勇敢等主题的描述。经典的文学作品无一不经得起时间的考验，儿童文学也是如此。儿童文学实际上是面向全年龄的文学，而不仅是针对狭义上的儿童。
本文通过对英国优秀儿童文学作品《哈尔的移动城堡》的意象研究，来详细分析作品背后的文化内涵，解读作品所要表达的思想内容，揭示作品反映的社会现状。本研究发现，永恒的文学主题与进步的理论支撑对文学作品的影响很大。正视自我，坚守正义，勇敢面对挑战，爱与和平，这些都在这部作品中有所体现。而作者本人的经历以及她所持有的女性主义观点，也为作品增添了光彩。坚强的女性形象颠覆了传统儿童文学中柔弱等待拯救的公主形象，已经越来越打动人心了，尤其在当今男女平等的社会中。

Abstract: We can find that United Kingdom comes out of a large number of classic children’s literature in the world children’s literature history. Because of the progressive view of children and the emerging theory of children’s literature, British children’s literature walk in the forefront of the world and various excellent works sweep the world. Though there are different subject matters and styles in these works, they have the same themes for growth,pursuit,bravery and so on. No works of classic literature does not stand the test of time, so is children’s literature. In fact, Children’s literature is for all ages.
This paper tries to study the images in the excellent British children’s literature Howl's Moving Castle in order to analyze the cultural connotation which the work implies in detail, interpret the content what this work wants to express and reveal the social reality what the work reflects. This paper has found that eternal literary theme and progressive theoretical support have a great influence on literature through the study. This book tells us to stick to justice, step the first step to challenge themselves with courage and try to know themselves correctly. And the experience of the author and her feminist point of view also added luster for her work. The image of strong woman subverts traditional weak female image which is waiting for save in the children’s literature, and it has become more and more popular. Jones’s work can be considered as a foundation one. All in all, only profound thought could move people and become a long-lasting classic.
