大学生英语课外交际意愿的调查研究
交际与第二语言习得存在密切的联系。交际不仅是一种促进语言学习的有效途径,而且其本身就是一个重要的语言学习目标。虽然教学法已经出现了由语法翻译法向交际法的转移,但是在增强英语学习者交际能力方面进展不大。这一切很大程度上讲都应归咎于交际意愿的缺失。
通过实施问卷调查,采用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,旨在探索大学生英语课外交际意愿高低、与学习成绩的相关性及其影响因素。研究结果表明,大学生课外交际意愿较高,且与成绩呈现显著正相关;学习者自身的语言能力、语言焦虑程度、交际气氛或者环境等是影响课外交际意愿的主要因素。

 Study of College Students’ Willingness to Communicate
             in English outside Classroom
                
Abstract: Communication has an intricate link with Second Language Acquisition, which is not only an effective way to promote language learning but also an important language target itself. Although teaching approach has achieved the transition from grammatical translation to communicative approach, there’s little improvement in stimulating English learner’s communicative capacity practically, which can be attributed to the lack of willingness to communicate to a great extent.
With the help of questionnaire, the present study intends to explore the level, correlation with academic performance and influencing factors of college students’ willingness to communicate(WTC) outside of classroom using quantitative and qualitative research method. The results reveal that non-English majors’ WTC outside classroom is comparatively high and there’s significant positive correlation between WTC outside classroom and academic performance; furthermore, language capacity, language anxiety, communicative atmosphere are the main influencing factors.
