小学英语教学体态语运用探析

【内容摘要】

小学英语教学体态语运用探析语言教学的研究近半个世纪以来越来越从研究语言本身转移到对语言学习过程的研究。同时,伴随着英语教学方法的改革与发展,课堂环境变的越来越重要,这对在课堂上发挥主导作用的老师提出了更高的要求。教师的体态语言在课堂上信息的传递过程中发挥的作用是不容忽视的。在小学英语教学中,体态语言的使用能够符合学生的生理和心理特征。通过观察小学英语课堂教学,分析体态语言在小学英语教学中的具体应用,旨在提高英语课堂教学效率。但是,体态语言的运用不当会造成师生互动过程中的恶性循环。教师在课堂教学中使用体态语言应该遵循体态语的三个使用原则:自然、适量、明确。

A Study of Body Language in Primary School English Teaching
 
Abstract: Language study has changed greatly in the past two decades. The study in the process of language learning or acquisition is introduced instead of language itself. At the same time, with the continual reform and development in the area of English teaching and learning, it becomes important to keep good classroom circumstances, which accordingly puts forward to higher requirements to English teachers. Besides verbal language, body language should be employed by teachers in class in order to communicate with students consciously or unconsciously. It is necessary to use body language in primary school classroom in order to meet the physical and psychological characteristics of primary students. Through classroom observation, this paper analyzes the importance and the concrete application of body language in primary school English teaching. However, a vicious cycle in the process of teachers and students interaction maybe caused with inappropriate body language. Three principles should be taken into consideration when teachers use body language in their classroom, including naturalness, appropriateness, and clarity.
