浅析《儿子与情人》中保罗的精神冲突

   本文通过简述小说《儿子与情人》的创作背景,引入弗洛伊德的心理分析理论,分析小说主人公保罗的内心冲突，进而提出了建立和谐健康两性关系的重要性。首先，本文作者结合弗洛伊德的本我、自我和超我理论，讨论了小说中主人公性格形成与发展：其既存在合理性与又有代表性。其次，本文分析了主人公保罗内心冲突的四个主要原因：即男权主导的社会与女性主导的家庭之间的矛盾，社会阶层矛盾，性欲望与责任之间的矛盾以及追求精神之爱与激情之间的矛盾。由此，本文作者认为一个人的成长过程尤其是童年时期的家庭教育对建立和谐健康的两性关系和价值观、爱情观、婚姻观有重要指导意义。

Abstract
This paper analyzes the inner conflicts of Paul from the perspective of Freud’s psychological theory. Based on his own personal experience, D.H. Lawrence deeply depicts mental conflicts of his hero to propose the significance of male and female relationship. First, based on a brief introduction to Ego, Id and Superego theory, the author discusses the formation and the development of Paul’s personality which is not at all gratuitous, but reasonable and representative. Second, the paper lists four main reasons leading to Paul’s mental conflicts. They are rooted in the conflicts between men-dominated society and women-dominated family, different social classes, the spiritual love and passion, and sexual desire and responsibility. So, during the growing process of a person, childhood family education fosters the establishment of a healthy and harmonious man–woman relationship and correct values towards love and marriage.
