中西女性审美文化比较

在我们的日常生活中,美是无处不在的。如奥古斯特·罗丹所说,“生活中不缺少美,只是缺少发现美的眼睛”。什么是审美?审美是一系列的观念,这些观念源自于人类生活的所有经验,源自于人类展现出的心理活动,行为方式和生存状态,作为社会人,我们遵从这些观念以至于我们能够感受得到身心舒适和自由和谐的氛围。审美标准的变化历经长时间的发展与变革,本文主要探讨中西对于女性审美观念的特征。该研究包括五个部分,第一部分首先阐述了“审美”这一概念的起源及定义,并对20世纪30年代至21世纪初的女性审美观进行简洁描述。第二,三和四部分是本项研究的主要部分。其中,第二部分分析中西方文化对于女性生理特征审美的差异,分析的角度包括脸部审美、眼睛审美、身姿审美、肢体审美、肤色深美等。第三部分分析中西方文化对于女性服装美的审美观念的区别,分析角度包括中西传统服饰观念,服装图案,服装装饰,色彩及材质等。第四部分探究中西方文化对于女性气质审美的差异。论文的最后一部分对全文进行总结,探讨了全球化或西方化背景下如何保持本民族审美特征,并思考了关于进一步进行审美研究可能动态的角度。本项研究希望对于中国现代青年一代在包容中西审美观念和平衡中西审美观念时有所指导意义,并改善和优化我们的审美意识。

Comparison between Chinese and Western Aesthetic
Views and Cultures on Female Beauty
 
Abstract: Beauty is ubiquitous. As Auguste Rodin said, “Life never lacks of beauties, yet you need to discover them with your eyes.”So what is aesthetic? It is sets of views on beautiful elements that origins from the complete and total experiences, mental activities, behavior style and living condition, and that human try to follow in order to appear bodily and mentally comfortable and harmonious. Aesthetic standard developed in modern society from age to age throughout 1930s to 2000s. This thesis makes a comparison exploration into aesthetic views and cultures on female beauty between Chinese and Western nations. The thesis includes five parts. The first part does a basic introduction into the concept of “aesthetics” and discusses the historical changes of aesthetic views in 20th century. The second, third and forth parts are the major body. The second part makes the comparison of views on female physique beauty between Chinese and Western cultures, involving the aesthetic standards that the beautiful females were or are supposed to be born with, in terms of their faces, hair, eyebrow, eyes, mouth, shoulders, limbs and complxion. The third part carries out a comparison of views on female dressing style between Chinese and western cultures, covering the aesthetic views on females’ costume, dresses patterns, embroilment, colors and materials. The forth part analyzes the different views on temperament between Chinese and western females. The above three parts of the major body of the thesis are conducted with concise descriptions and interpretations from the author, necessary quotations from classical works of poems, prose and novels and rich pictures from internet to subside the descriptions. The last part gives a conclusion, discussing the possibility to keep national perspective aesthetic views under the situation of westernization and globalization, summarizing the whole thesis and thinking over possible future explorations and researches. The whole thesis tries to interprete that understanding the differences between Chinese and Western aesthetic views and cultures is conducive to our young generation to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding and better promote the awareness and consciousness of aesthetic views.
