跨文化交际视角下汉语新词英译

随着社会的发展以及国际交往的日益频繁，新事物开始不断产生，与此同时，语言也得到了极大的丰富。在改革开放以来的近几十年中，汉语出现了不少新词语和新表达方式。将这些新词语准确形象地翻译成他国语言,这不仅有利于帮助国外人员进一步了解中国的发展，避免误解的产生，而且能促进民族间的交流，推动日后的国际合作。但是，新词的翻译绝非是单纯的语言转换，其翻译必须在文化的语境下才能实现文化交流的目的。本论文尝试研究跨文话视角下的汉语新词的英译。论文旨在总结汉语新词英译的主要方法，进而促进中西文化交流的顺利展开。

Abstract
With the development of the society and the frequent international communication, enormous new objects and new concepts begin to continuously appear. Meanwhile, the language has been extremely enriched. Large numbers of new words and expressions have been adopted to describe and modify the new stuff. The increasing use of neologisms will not only promote mutual understanding, but inspire further cooperation. However, the translation of neologism is by no means the simple language transformation and only the translation made under certain cultural context can achieve the purpose of cultural communication. The thesis attempts to analyze the translation of Chinese neologism into English from the perspective of intercultural communication. The thesis aims to summarize the main methods of the Chinese neologism into English so as to promote the smooth proceeding of the intercultural communication between China and the west.
