图式理论在中学英语阅读教学当中的运用

本文首先阐述了图式及图式理论的来源及概念;然后提出了图式的类型和功能;最后介绍了图式理论在中学英语阅读教学中的具体运用。结论是:以图式理论为指导的教学方法就提高学生阅读能力而言比传统的教学方法更有效,图式理论的运用会大大提高阅读的效率,教师一方面应通过阅读建构完善学生记忆中的图式,另一方面要在阅读中激活学生已有图式以增强学生的阅读理解能力。

Abstract
     This paper aims at proving a teaching method that is based on the language Schemata theory is more effective for the improvement of the students’ reading ability than the traditional teaching method by carrying out questionnaire investigations and doing a teaching experiment. A reading-based English teaching experiment is conducted in the research to test its effectiveness with the help of the Schematic Theory.The outcome of survey indicates the schema-based teaching method could improve students’ reading habits more and develop their interest in English reading to certain extent. That is to say, the application of Schema Theory should also be applied to the teaching of English reading in middle schools.
