新闻翻译中应用技巧的探讨 Exploration of the Techniques Applied in News Translation
News always stands in the forefront of the times, orientating the direction of development of the language. Therefore, news translation plays a key role in cross-cultural communication activities. It is apparent enough that English news translators depend largely upon news translation techniques, which is especially true for/with the new hands entering this line. Thus, mastering the relevant techniques of new translation has become a necessity.
This thesis starts with the introduction of the concept of news and news translation, plus a follow-up comparison of conventional everyday English translation and news translation. And with a summary, it explains the news values. The conclusion, on the basis of clarifying these concepts, analyzes the news structures (headline，lead and body), the stylistic features and translation techniques of news English from the aspects of vocabulary, syntax and text. It is expected that through such a brief summary the corresponding translation measures and strategies currently applied in combination with sound-testified theories and years’ of practice would be more pragmatic and viable for the news translating business.

摘要：新闻一直站在时代最前沿，引领语言的发展方向。新闻翻译也发挥着关键性的作用。因此，新闻翻译技巧对新闻翻译工作者来说影响很大，而初入此行业者尤为最盛。如此一来，掌握必要的翻译技巧便成为必然。
本文首先介绍新闻与新闻翻译的相关概念，进而对比普通翻译和新闻翻译，解释新闻价值，最后在阐明这些概念的基础上，对新闻的结构(标题、导语、正文)加以描述,并从词汇、句法、篇章的方面分析了新闻英语的文体特点及翻译方法，进而对如何使用最佳的方法指导翻译加以总结，以期进一步完善了新闻翻译中理论和实践的结合。
