从校训看中西大学的文化差异

Abstract:  University motto is the condensed reflection of a university, especial its tradition and education goals, which is an embodiment of a university’s educational philosophy and keeps a core position in the campus culture and spirit. Different mottos show different civilization. This thesis attempts to study the cultural differences between Chinese and Western universities through analyzing their mottos to let readers have a better understanding of campus cultures.

摘要: 大学校训是一个大学的凝聚和反射,特别反映了它的传统和教育目标，同时它承载着一所大学办学理念，在校园文化和精神方面占据着重要的位置。不同的校训表现了不同的文明文化。本文尝试通过对中西方大学校训的对比分析研究来更好的了解中西方大学校园文化的差异。
