浅析医学英语的翻译

医学英语属于科技英语的范畴, 有着专业性强、词汇量大、结构复杂的特点。然而，许多关于医学英语的研究却存在着研究范围较窄，欠缺对其特征进行全面研究等问题。为了能够进行有效的医学英语翻译, 本文对医学英语的构词方法、词源、 句式特点和翻译方法等方面的特点进行了初探，并在此基础上提出了常用的三种医学英语的翻译方法:意义法、 音译法、 象译法。通过对以上内容的研究,希望可以加强人们对医学英语相关知识的理解。

                 On the Translation of Medical English
 

Abstract: Medical English is a type of English for Science and Technology, which is specially characterized by large vocabulary and complicated sentence structures.                                                 However, many studies on the translation of medical English only cover a small scope and they lack comprehensive study on the features of it. In order to translate medical English effectively, this paper discusses the characteristics of medical English, such as word-formation, its etymology, sentence structure and the methods of translation and then puts forward three typical ways of medical English translation: free translation, transliteration, graphic translation. Hopefully, the study above can be helpful for the understanding of medical English.
