浅谈英语词汇教学

词汇是语言的建筑材料，是语言的重要要素之一。词汇量的多少在很大程度上影响一个人的语言能力。因此，词汇教学作为英语教学的重要环节对提高学生的英语水平就显得尤其重要。本文的目的就在于能够使学生在其中找到适合自己的词汇学习方法。
在本文中，合适的英语词汇教学方法将从三个方面进行探讨。首先，我们从几方面找出传统的英语词汇教学方法的缺陷。比如，孤立的教词汇；没有重点的教词汇；没有遵循记忆规律；在惩罚中教词汇。只有了解了缺陷，我们才可以得以改进。其次，为了更好地寻找英语词汇教学的方法，英语词汇的特点得到了讨论。第三，词汇策略的应用，通过调查问卷的形式，最终得出“每隔一段时间都有规律的复习一下单词；从课文语境中猜测词义；反复读写单词”是三种最有用的词汇学习方法。

A Study on English Vocabulary Teaching

   Vocabulary is the building material of the language; vocabulary is one of the most important elements of the language. To a large extent, the number of vocabulary can reflect their language ability. So as an important aspect of English teaching, vocabulary teaching is particularly important to improve the English proficiency.
This paper intends to make the students find out suitable method of vocabulary learning. In this paper, three aspects to find out suitable methods of vocabulary learning are mainly discussed. Firstly, The drawbacks of several traditional vocabulary teaching methods Such as “teaching vocabulary in isolation, teaching vocabulary without important point, failing to follow the memory rule, teaching vocabulary in punishment” in several aspects are exploited carefully. Only be aware of the drawbacks before they can be improved. Secondly, the distinguishing characteristics of English vocabulary for suitable methods are listed and discussed. Then, We try our best to find out the application and helpfulness of vocabulary strategies. Through questionnaire at last the method “reviewing the meaning of the word systematically”, “guessing from textual context”, “writing with reading repetition” are found to be the most-helpful and most-used methods.
