论《傲慢与偏见》中不同的婚姻观

《傲慢与偏见》是简奥斯汀的代表作，这部作品写于1813年，它以日常生活为素材，通过班纳特家的几个女儿和朋友对待终身大事的不同处理，表现出了不同人对婚姻爱情问题的不同态度，从而反映了作者的婚姻观。本文将这部小说中的婚姻分为几种典型，并且分析这几种婚姻观的价值取向。有人认为婚姻是为了金钱、财产和地位，有人强调理想婚姻的重要性，有人将婚姻当成儿戏。男女主角达西和伊丽莎白完全摒除偏见与傲慢，最终组成美满的家庭，表明爱情的力量是伟大的，它可以让人去重新认识并且接受一个人。本文主要通过解读四段不同的婚姻来分析这本书的婚姻观，从而可以更加透彻地了解作品的意义。

Abstract

      Pride and Prejudice is a very popular novel written by Jane Austen in 1813. The novel shows different attitudes toward marriage and love through the daily life of the several daughters in the Bennet’s family and their friends. These characters treated their marriage in different ways, and their attitude reflects Jane Austen’s marriage value. The paper mainly divides the marriages into several different types and tries to analyze the orientation of the marriage value of the main characters. Some people believe that marriage can provide property and social status; some people emphasize the importance of ideal marriage; but some people don’t take marriage seriously. In the novel, the hero and heroine—Darcy and Elizabeth completely casts away prejudice and pride and gets marriage at the end. In their marriage the power of love is great. It can help a person to understand and accept another person. The paper has discussed the four marriages in order to get a better understanding of the significance of the novel.
