浅析格列佛游记中的讽刺
Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) is the master of satire in 18th century in England, his superb artistic method shows in his representative Gulliver’s Travels. Through the adventure of the hero Gulliver, the novel satirizes the meaningless partisan struggle and the incompetence of the ruling party, thus revealing the cruelty, greed and exploitation of capitalism, and making the readers understand the social situation of England in the 18th century. By analyzing the travels of Gulliver in Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa and Houyhnhnms, and the use of satire, this paper discusses the author’s resentment and dissatisfaction with the dark social environment and sympathy for the working people. This will help readers have a profound understanding about the inner spirit of the novel.

乔纳森·斯威夫特（Jonathan Swift，1667～1745）,是英国十八世纪杰出
的讽刺大师,其高超的讽刺手法在他的代表作《格列佛游记》中展现地淋漓尽致。小说通过主人公格列佛的奇遇，讥讽了英国议会中毫无意义的党派斗争和执政者的无能，从而揭露了资本主义的残暴、贪婪和剥削的本质，使读者深入了解了18世纪英国的社会状况。本选题通过分析作者对主人公格列佛在小人国、大人国、飞岛国及慧骃国的奇遇及讽刺艺术手法的使用，探讨作者对黑暗社会环境的愤懑不满和对劳动人民的同情。这将有利于读者深刻理解作品的内在精神。
