从父权制视角看《儿子与情人》中女性的悲剧

戴维·赫伯特·劳伦斯是二十世纪杰出的英国小说家，被称为“英国文学史上最伟大的人物之一”。《儿子与情人》是劳伦斯的成名作，国内外许多学者从不同的方面对其进行了研究。随着女权运动的发展，越来越多的人开始从各种不同的角度关注其女性问题。本论文试图从父权制角度分析小说中莫瑞尔夫人、米莉安姆、克拉拉三位女性的悲惨命运,导致这三位女性悲剧的原因是她们身处父权制社会以及自身认识的狭隘。因此该论文对于当今女性的处境和女性主义的发展有一定的参考价值。

Abstract

David Herbert Lawrence is a famous English writer of the 20th century and he is known as one of the greatest figures in English literature. Sons and Lovers is a masterpiece of Lawrence, which have been studied by many scholars from different viewpoints. With the development of Feminist movement, more and more scholars are paying attention to the female issue in it from different perspectives. The thesis tries to analyze the miserable fate of Mrs. Morel, Miriam and Clara from the perspective of patriarchy. It is concluded that tragedy of the three women can be attribute to in the patriarchal society and their own narrowness. So, this thesis is of some reference value for development of feminism.
