美国作家J.D 塞林格的《麦田里的守望者》成功刻画了霍尔顿这一主要人物形象，讲述了他离开学校到纽约曼哈顿浪荡三天三夜的经历。本论文试图分析霍尔顿的成长经历，探讨他如何经历了天真、迷茫、反抗、妥协、顿悟和自我认识的过程后，逐步走向成熟，融入成人的世界，揭示了作家对青少年成长的人文关怀。

On a Youth’s Initiation Story of Holden
in The Catcher in the Rye
Abstract: The American writer J.D. Salinger, portrays the main protagonist Holden successfully in his masterpiece The Catcher in the Rye, which narrates Holden’s tramp experiences in New York for three days. This paper attempts to analyze the experiences of Holden's initiation and explore how Holden achieves his self-realization and becomes matured, integrates into the adult world after experiencing the stage of innocence, perplexity, rebellion, compromise and epiphany, which reveals the author's humanism for the initiation of teenagers.
