《德伯家的苔丝》主要人物分析

本论文对《德伯家的苔丝》主要人物进行了集中分析，其中包括苔丝的善良美丽纯洁,对家庭的责任感和爱情的忠贞不渝以及她作为新时代的女性对命运的抗争;亚力克道德的败坏，犹如魔鬼般的阴险邪恶；安吉尔的聪慧，对爱情态度的转变以及后来的觉醒。这些人物的性格特点不仅带我们回顾当时历史，更能让我们清晰地认识到现代社会。
为了更好地支撑这一论题，本论文分为四个部分：第一部分是对作者和小说的简要概述；第二部分则集中分析小说中主要人物的性格特点；第三部分着力分析这些人物性格形成的原因；最后一部分为结论，重申主题。

Abstract

This paper is focused on analyzing the main characters in Tess of the d’Urbervilles. It includes the heroine’s beauty and purity, her sense of responsibility to family, faithful attitude to love and fight against the fate as a female; Alec’s immorality as a devil; Angel’s wisdom, his change in the attitude to love for Tess and his later awakening. The personality of these characters can not only evoke our review of social history, but also make us recognize today’s modern world.
To support the thesis, this paper is divided into four parts. The first part gives a brief introduction to both the author and the novel; the second part is focused on analyzing the character of the main characters in the novel. The third part tells the reasons for the formation of their characters. The final part is conclusion, restating the thesis of the paper.
