任务型教学法在英语阅读教学中的应用

Reading ability is one of the main criteria of a student’s language competence. At the same time, however, reading comprehension is still a vulnerable spot to students. Some concerned researches have pointed out that TBLT stresses the development of students’ comprehensive ability for language use as well as experience, practice, cooperation and interaction in the process of language learning during which students learn by doing. Thus students acquire the language and are able to communicate by applying language while accomplishing tasks.
This thesis aims at discussing the feasibility and effectiveness of TBLT in reading class. With the analysis of theories related to TBLT, including the definition of task, task components and the theoretical rationale of it, the author makes a deep exploration on the application of TBLT in reading teaching, including the model of English reading teaching under TBLT and the principles of designing tasks. The purpose is to provide English reading teaching with some theoretical and practical implications and help students to not only grasp efficient reading skills but also improve their comprehensive ability for language application.
In the author’s opinion, the application of TBLT is of positive and practical significance in English reading teaching.

摘   要

阅读能力的高低是检验学习者语言水平的主要标准之一。然而,阅读理解仍然是学生的一个薄弱环节。相关研究表明,任务型教学方法强调培养学生的综合语言运用能力,倡导体验、实践、合作与交流的学习方式,主张“做中学”,使学生在完成任务的过程中产生语言的习得,并达到使用语言进行交际的目的。
本文旨在研究任务型教学法在英语阅读教学中运用的可行性及有效性。通过对任务型教学的理论依据的分析,包括任务的定义、任务的组成、任务型教学的理论依据等,深入探讨了任务型教学在英语阅读教学中的应用,包括任务型教学的模式以及任务设计所要遵循的原则,目的是为英语阅读教学提供一定的理论和实践启示,帮助学生在掌握有效的阅读技巧的同时提高语言的综合运用能力。作者认为,将任务型教学理论应用于英语阅读课堂具有积极的实践意义。
