从福柯的权力理论角度研究《天下骏马》中的规训权力

本文基于法国哲学家福柯的权力理论，阐释规训权力在《天下骏马》中的运用。监狱被视为规训权力得以实行的理想场所之一。本篇论文将通过压制性的规训主体和受折磨的规训客体、规训技巧分析规训权力在监狱中的运行以及布莱文斯和格雷迪以不同的方式对规训权力的反抗。布莱文斯的死亡和格雷迪的流浪象征着现代人反抗权力所造成的悲惨命运和在规训社会中的劣势地位，一方面他们想获得自由，但又不得不受制于社会的规训权利，最终还是沦为了监狱社会中被规训的囚徒，从而展现出规训权力对个体强制性的驯服会导致现代人的生存困境。

A Study of Disciplinary Power in All the Pretty Horses from the Perspective of Foucault’s Power Theory
Abstract
 This thesis, based on French philosopher Foucault’s power theory, intends to interpret the operation of the disciplinary power in All the Pretty Horses. Prison is regarded as one of the ideal places for disciplinary power to be fully exercised. This thesis interprets the operation of the disciplinary power in the prison from the analysis of the oppressive disciplinary subjects, tortured objects and disciplinary techniques as well as Blevins’ and Grady’s two different kinds of resistances to disciplinary power. The death of Blevins and the vagrant life of Grady are symbolic of the miserable fates and disciplinary status of modern people caused by their resistances to power in modern society. On the one hand, they want to gain freedom; on the other hand, they are controlled by the disciplinary power of society and eventually descend to the prisoners of prison-like society. All these display that mandatory disciplinary power will lead to existential dilemma of modern people.
