从跨文化传播角度分析好莱坞电影《功夫熊猫》、《木兰》中的中国元素
好莱坞电影因其引人入胜的故事、精良的制作、高度商业化的运作团队在世界电影界独树一帜,有着重要的地位和深远的影响,以中国元素为题材制作的电影动画《木兰》、《功夫熊猫》在世界掀起了一场势不可挡的中国风暴并取得了优异的票房。它们是好莱坞对中国文化的完美借鉴和运用,它精准挑选了中国文化的代表元素,立体化地对中国文化进行了成功演绎。
本文以《功夫熊猫》、《木兰》两部好莱坞电影中的场景和人物性格为研究对象,采用对比分析、归纳与总结等研究方法,结合《跨文化交际》、《传播学》的相关理论知识,着重运用陌生化理论和符号理论对两部电影中有关跨文化传播技巧的内容进行全面分析和总结。研究发现:陌生化情境使受众“忘却”中国元素干扰,投入剧情,达到了增强传播效果的目的。在跨文化传播中,电影的场景、故事编排实质上是都是为价值观的传播而服务的,运用中国元素能起到很好的传播效果,丰富故事情节,弱化与受众的距离感,达到潜移默化传播本土价值观的效果。总之,跨文化电影的编排是以价值观为内核,以特殊元素为信使,利用国外文化符号传递本国价值观,这一传播思路对中国电影跨文化传播也具有一定的借鉴意义。

Intercultural Analysis of Chinese Elements in Hollywood Films with the Examples of Kung Fu Panda and Mulan
Abstract
For their fascinating story, sophisticated manufactural methods and highly commercialized operation team, Hollywood movies gain their important status and far-reaching impact.
Hollywood Chinese elements as a theme in film animation of the Mulan and Kung Fu Panda caused an unstoppable storm in China in the world and did very well in the box office. They are Hollywood's perfect reference in the area using precision element of Chinese culture to successfully interpret Chinese culture solidly.
In this paper, we analyze and conclude the skills of intercultural communication for Hollywood movie Mulan and Fung Fu Panda’s scene and characters using contrastive analysis, summary and other research methods combined with de-familiarization and semiotics. We have findings as follow: de-familiarizational situation can make the audience forget Chinese elements’ interference and be immersed in plot to achieve the purpose of enhancing the effect of transmission. In intercultural communication, movie scene and story arrangement are essential to serve as a tool to transmit values. Utilizing Chinese elements can achieve good communication effects and enrich the storyline as well as reduce with the audience of distance. So it can transmit their values subtly. All in all, the arrangement of intercultural films utilizes foreign signs as a messenger to transmit their native values. The dissemination of ideas also has certain significance for Chinese intercultural communication.
