《了不起的盖茨比》是与美国梦探析An Analysis of Gatsby and American Dream
Abstract
The Great Gatsby is a novel written in 1925 by f. Scott Fitzgerald. This novel embodies Fitzgerald’s very high level of writing. When Hemingway read his manuscript, he said that Fitzgerald had written a truly great book. Fitzgerald was a famous American writer and screenwriter in the 20th century and The Great Gatsby laid a solid foundation for his development in American literature. This article is mainly from the American dream and Gatsby divided into introduction, body and conclusion of three parts to discuss the work.
The introduction sets the direction of this paper. The body has three chapters. The first chapter mainly tells about the American dream, including the background of the development of the American dream and the components of the American dream of Gatsby. The second chapter mainly analyzes the protagonist Gatsby from three different perspectives, including the author Fitzgerald, the heroine Daisy and the narrator Nick. The third chapter is about the greatness of Gatsby including his quality and character. And the conclusion mainly tells about what we learn from Gatsby and his American dream.
This paper mainly discusses The Great Gatsby from the historical background of the American dream and the in-depth analysis of Gatsby. In my opinion, The Great Gatsby is a representative novel written by Fitzgerald, so it is necessary for us to seriously appreciate this great tragedy.

《了不起的盖茨比》是由弗朗西斯·斯科特·基·菲茨杰拉德于1925年撰写的。小说展现了菲茨杰拉德非常高的写作水平。当初海明威看了他的底稿，说他写了一本真正的了不起的书。菲茨杰拉德被称为20世纪美国著名的作家和编剧，《了不起的盖茨比》为他在美国文学的发展上奠定了扎实的基础。本文主要从美国梦和盖茨比的人物分析来研究，分为导论、主体和结论三部分来讨论这部作品。
导论确定了这篇论文的写作方向。主体分为三章。第一章主要讲述美国梦，其中包括美国梦发展的背景和盖茨的美国梦的组成部分。第二章主要是从三个不同的人物角度分析主人公盖茨比，包括作者菲茨杰拉德、女主人公黛西和叙述者尼克。第三章节写的是盖茨比的伟大之处，包括盖茨比的品质和性格两部分。结论主要讲述我们从盖茨比和他的美国梦中学到了什么。
