语音学习对英语学习的影响

语音学习对英语学习的影响鉴于现在英语越来越重要的作用,几乎每一名大学生都需要学习外语。然而,许多学生发现学习英语的过程较他们的母语来讲有很大的困难。他们急切希望能够找到一种更为容易的学习英语的方法。为了使得刚步入中国矿业大学的学生能够了解和掌握更多的英语知识,特别是能够掌握基本的语言学知识,我们做了关于第二语言习得关于态度和动机的研究。这样我们就能够了解学生们对于英语学习的态度以及他们通过对语音知识的学习通过怎样的方式激起学生们的学习兴趣和潜在动机,产生怎样的效果。由于他们在学习英语的过程中了解到语言的实质,他们就会发现要理解英语和英语学习就更加容易了。据研究显示,对于语音的学习能够为大一新生找到一条将英语学好的便捷途径。通过将我们研究与第二外语习得的一些关于态度和动机的理论相联系,我们发现以学生为中心的授课方式以及对英语语音知识的掌握和理解对于英语学习有重要作用。全文由五部分组成,第一部为引言,引出需要研究的话题。第二部分介绍了一些学者在第二语言中态度和动机的研究成果。第三部分讲述了英语语音的学习。第四部分将实验与第二语言习得中态度与动机相结合,以案例分析探索语音学习和英语学习之间的关系。最后得出一些结论并为后续研究提出一些建议。

The Influences of Phonetics Learning on English Study— A Case Study of CUMT Students
Abstract
Concerning the importance of the role of English language nowadays, nearly every college student is required to learn English. However, many of them find difficulties in the process of acquiring the oral English related to their mother tongue. Many of them are eager to find ways to make English leaning easier. In order to help students in China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) to know more about English learning and acquire some basic knowledge of language,we choose the research on attitude and motivation in Second Language Acquisition (SLA), so we can acquaint of the facts how the attitudes of the students towards English learning and whether the learning of phonetic can stimulate students’ interests and motivation. As they know what language is in the process of learning English, they will find it easier to understand English language learning. According to the research we find that the learning of phonetics can help the students find a way to learn English positively. Through the research combined with the theories of attitudes and motivation in Second Language Acquisition, we find that the students-centered teaching methods and the learning and mastering of phonetics are of central importance in English learning.
The whole paper is made up of five parts. Part one leads to the topic and the research. Part two probes into some researches which have been done by scholars. As for the third part, the phonetics learning is discussed. In part four, the research is combined with the attitudes and motivations in SLA. Case study is applied to clarify the relationship between Phonetics learning and English study. At last we come to a conclusion and put forward some suggestions for the researches in succession.
