《拉格泰姆时代》中新历史主义的重构The Reconstruction of New Historicism in Ragtime
埃德加·劳伦斯·多克托罗（1931-2015）是美国文坛一位著名的后现代主义作家。他的文学创作带有强烈的新历史主义色彩。通过阅读他的作品，读者们会意识到历史是开放的并会受到当代环境所影响。在《拉格泰姆时代》中，多克托罗重塑了历史事件和历史人物，并且在重塑的过程中，加入了自己对于时代的个人理解。小说中主要有三个家庭出现，当中伴随着许多真实的和虚构的历史人物。白人家庭、黑人家庭和犹太人家庭经历了不同的困难并且产生了思想上的变化。在多克托罗笔下，历史不再是专业历史书上书写的文字。他在文学创作中不断体现着美国的社会、文化和政治生活。

Abstract
Edgar Lawrence Doctorow (1931-2015) is an outstanding postmodernist writer in American literature. His literary creation shows a strong tendency of New Historicism. By reading his works, readers realize that history is open and influenced by the contemporary circumstance. In Ragtime, E. L. Doctorow reconstructs historical events and figures and adds his personal understanding of history. There are mainly three families in the story as well as other real and fictional figures. The White family, the Black family and the Jewish family deal with different difficulties and shift in thinking. Under Doctorow's pen, history is no longer the written texts in professional history books. Doctorow continuously reflects the American social, cultural, and political life in his literary creation.
